On January 3, 2024, the ProHealingAC project, supported by Science Fund, officially started, making a first step forward developing novel strategy against antibiotic resistance, one of the biggest public health threats of our time. Using interdisciplinary approach, the project’s goal is to develop novel innovative biocomposites aimed for prevention/inhibition of wound infections. This innovative approach is expected to have a substantial impact on society, patients, and healthcare, enabling development of novel therapeutic options.
